Remember that there will be out-of-town runs on the last Thursday of the month for the next few months (hopefully with a slightly more punctual leader who doesn't carry a map) so check the noticeboard for details. The newsletter (delayed as usual) is on its way now I have all the material I need. |

This month's out of town run will start at 7pm this Thursday (25th) from the base of the cliffs at Hill Head. This year's host is me for the traditional 5 or so miles of rambling cross-country running at an easy pace. If it rains this week then wear old trainers, if it's hot then drink plenty of water during the day. Possible trip to the pub afterwards. |

The form for this year's half marathon is out. The race is on Sunday 15th November at 10am. More details will follow in the next few days. |

Fareham Leisure Centre are holding a triathlon on Sunday 28 June in aid of the Hampshire Autistic Society. It will consist of a 400m swim, 23km cycle and 10km run with the leisure centre as the base. Registration starts at 3.00pm with the first wave in the pool at 4.00pm. The entry fee is £15.00. They are also looking for volunteers to help marshall the event - contact Cathie Bolwell at

Netley & HRRL Results are up! |

The results from Netley and the final Hampshire Road Race League standings are up. Congratulations to all the runners who took part in Netley and especially those who took part in seven or more races and thus got in the final standings. Colin Gardner was our top man, placing 50th in Hampshire and Jo Oakes was the top lady (by .1 of a point) at 27th. |

Beginner's Running Course Update |

We're still working on the planning of the beginner's course and trying to make it the easiest way to get into running that we can (as well as the most fun), drawing on the clubs years of experience of getting people started.
